She was born in 1977 in Zadar. She attended the Ballet Studio of the Croatian National Theatre in Split from an early age, and in 1994, she enrolled in the High School for Classical Ballet in Zagreb. After completing her education in 1998, she returned to Split and became a CNT Split Ballet ensemble member; three years later, she became a soloist.
