He was born in 1981 in Bucharest, where he began his ballet education. He completed his schooling in 2000 at the Ballet School in Cluj-Napoca. During that time, he danced in all significant classical ballets, such as Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and Giselle. After completing his education, he went to Hungary. He briefly danced in Budapest and then for one season in Pécs (Pecz Ballet Company), participating in modern and classical ballet repertoire, operas, and operettas (The Lady of the Camellias, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Zorba the Greek...). In 2001, he became a soloist in the Ballet of the Croatian National Theatre Split.

- Third prize at the Oleg Danovski Classical Ballet Competition, 1995.
