Return to Croon

Saša Jakelić will mark 30 years of artistic work with his Return to Croon solo concert.

Return to Croon

As a singer-songwriter, Saša Jakelić has performed and been awarded at many popular music festivals. As a member of a vocal group, he participated in the founding of the group Šufit. He competed as the sole Croatian representative at the most significant international singing competition, Operalia, under the patronage of Plácido Domingo. As a long-time member of the Croatian National Theatre Split Opera ensemble, he has performed numerous solo roles in opera and operetta, with Tonči Morovica (The Aquarelle of Split – I. Tijardović) being particularly notable.

His original song, Bez tvog tila, was declared the absolute winner at the Split 2024 music festival.

Accompanied by pianist Antun Milinković, Jakelić will perform a rich selection of songs in an intimate crooner style, showcasing works that have influenced his singing and songwriting. From Presley, Orbison, and Denver to Aznavour, Cohen, and Dedić, Return to Croon will take you on an extraordinary music journey.
