Born in 1960, Nikola Ivošević embarked on his artistic journey by enrolling in the Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1981. A dedicated member of the Drama Department of the Croatian National Theatre in Split since 1988, Ivošević has showcased his versatile talents in numerous productions. Notable roles include Max in Harold Pinter's "Povratak" (2020), Waldemar De Crédence in Predrag Lucić's "Aziz or the Wedding that Saved the West" (2017), and Kapelan in Antun Šoljan's "Romance about Three Loves" (2017). Ivošević has also contributed to theatre beyond HNK Split, playing Don Carlos in Jean-Baptiste Poquelin's "Don Juan" at Theatre Ulysses in 2009. In the realm of television and film, he has been part of projects like "Patrola na cesti" (2015) and "Sonja and the Bull" (2012). Recognized for his outstanding performance, Ivošević received the Judita Award for his interpretation of Jago in William Shakespeare's "Othello" at the 60th Split Summer Festival in 2014.
