Goran Marković, born in 1985 in Split, Croatia, is a versatile artist renowned for his achievements in both theater and film. After completing his education at the School of Fine Arts in Split, he pursued a degree in Visual Communication Design at the University of Split's Academy of Arts. Driven by a passion for acting, he transitioned to the Acting program, earning a Master's in 2011. Since 2009, he has been an integral member of the Drama Department at the Croatian National Theatre Split.
Marković's stage presence is marked by a series of compelling CNT Split roles showcasing his range and talent. From classical works like Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew to contemporary pieces like Jurica Pavičić's Red Water he has consistently captivated audiences.
Off the CNT Split stage, Marković has expanded his artistic footprint with engagements in various productions, including films like Zvizdan and Safe Place.
His contributions have not gone unnoticed, earning him prestigious awards such as the "Večernjakova ruža" and the "Marko Fotez" Award. Notably, his role in Safe Place garnered accolades at the Locarno Film Festival, further solidifying his status as an accomplished actor.
