Gaia Vidović was born in 1986 in Split. She earned her master's degree in Business Economics, specializing in Management, Forensics, and National Security at the Faculty of Economics in Split in 2012. During her studies, she participated in team international entrepreneurship competitions in Sarajevo and negotiation competitions in Warsaw.
Gaia Vidović has extensive business experience, starting her career as a demonstrator at the Faculty of Economics in Split in 2008. Shortly after, she became a member of the Quality Improvement Committee at the same faculty from 2009 to 2011. From 2011 until mid-November 2022, she has continuously managed Studio Proforma d.o.o., a company operating in various sectors, including advisory services in standardization, marketing, graphic design, and hospitality.
In the academic year 2022/2023, she earned the title of lecturer and is engaged at the Faculty of Economics, where she conducted tutorials for eleven courses at the Department of Accounting and Auditing and the Department of Finance. She is the co-author of two scientific articles, one of which, "How does education influence entrepreneurship orientation? – Case study of Croatia," has been cited 114 times.
In 2012, she completed the Speaker's School "Ivo Škarić," organized by the Department of Phonetics of the Croatian Philological Society at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb.
Gaia Vidović advocates lifelong learning and regularly enhances her skills through additional education and courses. In January 2021, she completed the online course in Croatian, "Elements of AI," offered by the University of Helsinki in partnership with the University of Zagreb. In 2023, she completed "Narrative Economics," a course by Nobel laureate Robert Shiller, in English at Yale University. In addition, she has completed various other studies in marketing, sustainable management, psychology, and sociology.
Currently, Gaia Vidović serves as the President of the Supervisory Board at the Aeroclub Split since May 2023. Since September of the same year, she has been acting as the Business Director of the Croatian National Theatre Split. She is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in French and Finnish. In her free time, she engages in recreational gliding.
