Premiered in January 2015, Red staged by the EXIT Theatre, directed by Matko Raguž, is a drama by John Logan, author famous for his Hollywood blockbuster scenarios such as "The Aviator" and "Gladiator”. Red is the story based on a true event about the famous American artist Mark Rothko and the well-known commission to paint a group of murals for the Seagram corporation. In John Logan’s imagination and based on this famous incident, this play becomes a critique of consumer society and excellent intellectual discussion about creation, doubts, art in time and space of formation, about friendship ... Artistic and life concerns of the main actor are shown through the correlation with his, initially fearful and obedient assistant Ken. Through the clash of two protagonists, a lucid, but vain and insecure artist at the peak of his career (who can already see it passing) and a liberated member of the next generation who recognizes the signs of a new artistic era, personal dramas are reflected and possibilities of changing people are questioned.

Filip Križan won the Croatian Association of Dramatic Artists Award in 2015 for the best featured actor in a play.
