The ballet Scheherazade, set to the dynamic music of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's eponymous symphonic suite, tells a story of passion expressed through movement. Michel Fokine, whose renowned choreography forms the basis of this production, created a new form of expression by discarding traditional pointe work and adapting classical ballet movements to convey the energy of love, infused with the subtleties of human relationships and generously spiced with sensuality.

The life of a dancer unfolds not only on stage but also in the lengthy and arduous preparations, which will be depicted on stage by the Split Ballet Ensemble.
