Born in Split, Kajana Pačko began her studies at the Music Academy in Zagreb under the guidance of Prof. Valter Dešpalj when she was only fourteen. She continued her education in Berlin under Prof. Troels Svane and Prof. Frans Helmerson at the Hanns Eisler School of Music, and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Prof. Clemens Hagen. Her rich artistic biography includes performances at the most prominent stages in Europe such as the Berlin Philharmonic and the Berlin Konzerthaus. As a soloist, she has collaborated with the Cappella Academica Orchestra, the Croatian Radiotelevision Orchestra, the Zagreb Soloists, the Croatian Chamber Orchestra, the Varaždin Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Croatian National Theatre Split, and the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra. She has collaborated with outstanding musicians such as Danushe Waskiewicz, Diane Tishchenko, Petrit Çeku, Stefan Milenković, and members of the Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. She has performed in various combinations at festivals such as the George Enescu Festival, the Musique en Cote Basque Festival, the Homburg Chamber Music Days, the Salzburg Chamber Music Festival, the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, and the Split Summer Festival. In 2004, she represented Croatia at the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition in Lucerne. She has won numerous first prizes at prestigious competitions in Croatia and abroad. Three recordings featuring her performances have been released by Croatia Records and the Belgian publishing house "Le Chant de Linos."
As a versatile musician, alongside her solo performances, she equally values and nurtures chamber music, pedagogical work, collaboration with composers, organizing festivals and charity concerts, recording audio and video, and creating new concert programs. Kajana Pačko plays on a cello l'école de Pique made in Paris in the year 1800.
Hungarian conductor Tibor Bogányi, who is also a cellist himself, is known for his diverse and virtuosic interpretations. He gained international recognition in 2002 when he was appointed the chief conductor of the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra in Finland at the age of only 28. He serves as the chief conductor of the Panonian Philharmonic in Hungary and leads the Pori Sinfonietta Symphony Orchestra of the city of Pori. He is the artistic director of the Budapest National Opera. Under his enthusiastic leadership, the Panonian Philharmonic has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe.
