Oliver Twist is a globally known story thanks to the writer Charles Dickens and his novel about a boy whose fate plays cruel tricks on him, from his life in a poorhouse, through exploitation in a funeral business, to his time on the streets where he is further exposed to all kinds of shady characters. Even in such circumstances, he finds a warm heart: a girl named Chiara and a young woman named Nancy. Chiara somehow 'recruits' him into a group of child pickpockets led by hardened adult criminals from the bottom of the social ladder: Fagin and Bill. Various adventures eventually lead this noble boy to a happy reunion with his relatives, from whom a twist of unfortunate circumstances tore him away. The text, written in verse, is skillfully framed with the essential musical elements: dancing, singing, and acting. In just an hour, the audience will enjoy top-notch entertainment in the recognizable DanSing style.
