"Anna Karenina" is a theater piece that strikes right into the open heart. The Heart of Anna Karenina. The souls of all the characters/actors on stage. Into the hearts of the audience. It's easier to describe this target with a metaphor. Let's say we reach the very core of the human experience - love, about which Varenka sings to the sickly Kitty: to some insight - a place before which thinking bewilderingly pauses before the warm, vibrant, bloody substance of life. - Nataša Nelević
