Ami Inoue

Ami Inoue was born in Japan. She began studying ballet at the age of 8 at the Columbus Dance Arts Academy in the USA. After returning to Japan, she continued her education at the Classical Ballet Academy S.O.U. She further honed her skills from 2016 to 2018 at the Escola Artística de Dança do Conservatório Nacional in Portugal.

She received her first award in 2015 at a ballet competition in Yokohama (Japan), and over the next three years, she won six awards at prestigious competitions, including the second prize at the TANZOLYMP 2018 international competition in Germany.

She began her professional career at the Tulsa Ballet Theatre (USA) and continued at the Romanian National Opera and Ballet "Oleg Danovski." Since 2023, she has been a member of the Ballet Ensemble of the Croatian National Theatre Split.

Her repertoire includes roles in classical ballets such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in "The Nutcracker," Kitri in "Don Quixote," Giselle in "Giselle," Gerda in "The Snow Queen," Pascuala in "Laurencia," and so on.
