Albina Rahmatullina was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. After completing the Ballet Academy in 1984, she joined the State National Theater of Opera and Ballet in Tashkent, where she began to build her solo career. After four years, she moved to Moscow and participated in theater tours in America, Germany, India, Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong, and more. She has performed leading roles in ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote, La Bayadère, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, and others. In late 1992, she received an invitation from Croatia and came to work at the Croatian National Theatre Split, where she danced solo roles in both classical and modern performances. She represented the CNT Split Ballet in America and at the "Rudolf Nureyev" festival in Italy. Rahmatullina has successfully collaborated with the Split City Puppet Theater, creating stage movements in various dramatic productions at the Croatian National Theatre Split. She also works as an assistant choreographer in ballet productions of the Croatian National Theatre Split. She has been the director of the Croatian National Theatre Split Ballet Studio from 2015 to 2023.
