Paper and Bronze

The artistic works of Sirpa Ihanus, a sculptor, painter, and paper artist, are characterized by an abstract and organic approach, combining archaic and modern elements. Paper, metal, wood, stone, and other natural materials combine to create a vibrant and multi-dimensional world of forms. The artist, who has received numerous accolades, showcases her works as public sculptures and exhibits across Europe.

Lajos Bíró, a sculptor and recipient of the Mihály Munkácsy Award, stands as one of the most prominent art figures in Hungary. As a prolific artist, he has created over 170 public sculptures both within Hungary and abroad, even receiving commissions from the United States. He also crafts small-scale sculptures and medals alongside his large-scale sculptures inspired by classical Greek art principles. The bronze sculptures of varying sizes exhibited at Prokultura - KJK Peristil will showcase the artist's strong sense of aesthetics and mastery of anatomy and proportion.
