The Split-based association KURS has been organizing the Writers in Residence Marko Marulić program for about fifteen years, providing international artists—primarily writers, translators and visual artists—with a one-month residency in Split.

As part of the program, each resident guest is introduced to the local audience through the traditional literary panel series Discu(r)ssion, which features both international and domestic authors to foster international cultural exchange.
