As part of this year’s festival, a playwriting workshop will be held from April 26th to May 1st, 2025, under the guidance of renowned playwright, novelist, poet, and screenwriter Tomislav Zajec.

The workshop is open to all theater enthusiasts, whether they have little writing experience or are more seasoned authors looking to refine their playwriting skills. Dramaturge Vedrana Klepica successfully led last year’s workshop, and this year, Tomislav Zajec continues the tradition of high-quality education. The workshop aims to provide fundamental knowledge of dramatic writing while encouraging participants to explore their creative ideas and develop original texts.

The playwriting workshop has become an integral part of the Marulićevi Dani festival, reaffirming its value in promoting dramatic writing and inspiring new generations of writers to enter the theater world.
