At the crossroads of the prairie and the desert, just before the sun reaches its zenith and the clock tower strikes noon, Jimmy Ćorak and Johnny Brada will take their positions for a cowboy duel. Their palms will tremble close to their revolvers in heavy leather holsters. When the clock tower chimes for the first time, Jimmy and Johnny will step in their boots, each to their side, taking the first step. Then, the second. Then the third… They will reach for their revolvers and aim at each other. The duel will irrevocably change their lives – one of them will have a bullet in their heart, while the other’s words will strike the first right in the heart.
To prove he is the best gunslinger in the world, Jimmy Ćorak embarks on the adventure of his life, which will call into question everything he believes he knows about himself and his identity.
The play Jimmy Ćorak, using the Western genre, tells an archetypal story of a son and a father, their physical separation yet unbreakable inner bond, and the son's paradoxical need to connect with and separate from his father. In this, the play does not help the son at all. But the audience might.
