On the 40th anniversary of the publication of the first notebook of Robi K. by Viktor Ivančić, a special conversation will take place in the foyer of the Croatian National Theatre in Split on Monday, October 28, starting at 6 PM.
Titled 40 Years in 3.A – Forever Young Robi K., the discussion will feature the author Ivančić himself, journalist and writer Boris Dežulović, historian and publicist Dragan Markovina, and writer and scientist Nebojša Lujanović. The conversation about the significance of the always provocative satirical column, one of the longest-running in the domestic media space, will be moderated by dramaturg Karla Leko.
On October 28, 1984, Viktor Ivančić published the poem **Militaristic Nursery Rhyme** by the author Robi K., a fictional boy who sharply commented on political issues with his direct, humorous expression. This marked the beginning of the column's life, which, in various media, continues to this day. The celebration of the birthday of the media's most exposed elementary school student will take place before the premiere of the play Robi K., Little Red Riding Hood is Dead, which is scheduled at HNK Split on November 20.
Admission to the conversation is free.
